Norev is a historic French manufacturer of die-cast and plastic scale model cars, founded in 1946 in Villeurbanne, a suburb of Lyon. The company's name is a clever anagram—it is the surname of the founding brothers, Paul, Joseph, and Émile Véron, spelled backward.

While Odeon acts as a specialized boutique label managed under a larger parent distributor, Norev is a legendary standalone titan in the global diecast industry, producing millions of collectibles spanning nearly a century of automotive history.

Norev's manufacturing journey can be split into two distinct eras: the plastic era (1950s–1960s) and the die-cast era (1970s–Present). As plastics fell out of favor due to warping ("plastic sickness"), Norev pivoted heavily to metal die-cast injection molding.

Beyond France, they are heavily trusted by Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen to create official promotional die-casts for dealerships and auto shows.
