Ebbro is a highly prestigious Japanese model brand celebrated globally by collectors for its extraordinarily detailed 1:43 and 1:18 scale die-cast replicas. Founded in 1998 in Shizuoka by Masato Kitani—a legendary former design engineer from Tamiya—Ebbro established itself as the absolute benchmark for Japanese motorsport miniatures.

While Ebbro has produced a vast range of classic European and Japanese road cars, its absolute crowning achievement is its unrivalled coverage of Japanese racing history. It is the premier official model maker for the Super GT Championship and the Historic JGTC era.

The core of Ebbro’s catalog utilizes traditional zinc alloy die-casting. This gives their 1:43 models a premium, heavy weight accompanied by razor-sharp factory-accurate paint lines. For certain ultra-exclusive, low-volume race variants, they shifted production to high-detail resin cast layers.

In early 2024, Ebbro's original parent company (MMP Co.) unfortunately filed for bankruptcy. However, the brand did not stay dead for long. By late 2024 and heading into 2026, the "EBBRO" trademark was officially acquired and revived by Rana Entertainment Inc.. They continue to manufacture the legacy 1:43 domestic classic lines.
