isack hadjar

season 2025

Isack Alexandre Hadjar; born 28 September 2004) is a French and Algerian racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for Campos and serves as a reserve driver in Formula One for Red Bull Racing. Born and raised in Paris to an Algerian family, Hadjar began competitive kart racing aged seven. 

A member of the Red Bull Junior Team since 2022, Hadjar made his free practice debut in Formula One at the 2023 Mexico City Grand Prix. Hadjar is set to compete for Racing Bulls in 2025, replacing Liam Lawson to partner Yuki Tsunoda.

Hadjar initially grew fond of motorsport after watching the Pixar animated movie Cars.

gabriel bortoleto

Gabriel Bortoleto Oliveira (born 14 October 2004) is a Brazilian racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for Invicta.

Born and raised in São Paulo, Bortoleto began competitive kart racing aged seven, winning multiple national titles and graduating to junior formulae in 2020.

Bortoleto completed his first Formula One test at the Red Bull Ring in September 2024, driving the McLaren MCL36. He is set to join Sauber in Formula One for the 2025 season onwards, ahead of their acquisition by Audi in 2026.

jack doohan

Jack Doohan (born 20 January 2003) is an Australian racing driver. He most recently competed in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship with Invicta Virtuosi Racing where he finished in third place and will graduate to a full-time seat in Formula One for 2025 with Alpine.

Doohan partook in his first F1 test of the year in May 2023, driving the A521 at Monza. Doohan again participated in the first free practice with Alpine at the Mexico City Grand PrixHe completed 25 laps and ranked 18th overall.

Doohan started karting competitively in 2012. He was given his first kart from former neighbor and 7-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli; born 25 August 2006), also known as Kimi Antonelli, is an Italian racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for Prema. Born and raised in Bologna, Antonelli is the son of sportscar racing driver Marco Antonelli. 

A member of the Mercedes Junior Team since 2019, Antonelli made his free practice debut in Formula One at the 2024 Italian Grand Prix. He is set to race for Mercedes in 2025 on a one-year contract, replacing Lewis Hamilton to partner George Russell. Antonelli shares his middle name with the forename of Kimi Räikkönen—the 2007 Formula One World Drivers' Champion.

Franco Alejandro Colapinto (born 27 May 2003) is an Argentine racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Williams Racing. Colapinto previously competed in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship with MP Motorsport, before earning a promotion to Formula One mid-season with Williams, replacing Logan Sargeant. Colapinto will run the last nine races of the 2024 season, after which he will be replaced by Carlos Sainz Jr. Colapinto won the 2019 F4 Spanish championship and is a race winner in the European Le Mans Series. He has been a member of the Williams Driver Academy since 2023, and is the first Argentinian to compete in Formula One since Gastón Mazzacane in 2001.

Oliver James Bearman (born 8 May 2005) is a British racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship for Prema Racing and is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. He is currently the reserve driver for Scuderia Ferrari and Haas F1 Team in Formula One, the former with which he made his Formula One debut at the 2024. 

Bearman made his Formula One debut, replacing Carlos Sainz Jr. for the remainder of 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after the latter was diagnosed with appendicitisHe qualified eleventh, narrowly missing out on a Q3 appearance, after which he received praise from Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen amongst others. He would go on to finish seventh in the race and win the Driver of the Day award via votes from the spectators.

Liam Lawson (born 11 February 2002) is a New Zealand motor racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Scuderia AlphaTauri and Super Formula Championship with Team Mugen

In 2021, he also raced for the Red Bull AF Corse team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, partnering Alex Albon, narrowly missing out on the championship in the last round.

Lawson also currently serves as a reserve driver for Red Bull Racing. He made his Formula One debut at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix, replacing Daniel Ricciardo at AlphaTauri after Ricciardo sustained a broken bone in his hand during a crash in free practice.

Oscar Piastri (born 6 April 2001) is an Australian racing driver who previously served as the reserve driver for Alpine F1 Team, having previously been in the team's driver academy. He won the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup with R-ace GP, and won the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship and 2021 Formula 2 Championship with Prema Racing. He is only the sixth driver to win the GP2/Formula 2 Championship in their rookie season, and the fifth driver to win the GP3/Formula 3 Championship and the GP2/Formula 2 Championship in consecutive seasons. He will make his Formula One debut in 2023 driving for McLaren.

Logan Hunter Sargeant (born December 31, 2000) is an American racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Carlin. He will compete for Williams Racing in the 2023 Formula One World Championship, having graduated from the Williams Driver Academy. He got his first taste of F1 machinery at the post-season test at the Yas Marina Circuit, driving the Williams FW43B. Sargeant began his motorsport career in karting in 2008. In his first year he competed mainly in national championships, before moving to Europe in 2009.

Hendrik Johannes Nicasius de Vries, better known as Nyck de Vries (born 6 February 1995) is a Dutch racing driver. He won the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship and the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship, as well as the 2010 and 2011 Karting World Championships. He was signed to the McLaren young driver programme from January 2010 until May 2019 and Audi Sport racing academy from October 2016 until August 2019. He is also the reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. De Vries made his Formula One debut in September 2022 for Williams at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix.

After only 10 races with Alpha Tauri his F1 career ended.

Guanyu Zhou ( born 30 May 1999) is a Chinese racing driver, currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for UNI-Virtuosi Racing. As part of the Alpine Academy, he currently serves as the test driver for the Alpine F1 Team. He has signed a contract to compete as an Alfa Romeo driver in the 2022 Formula One World Championship. He was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2014 to 2018, and served as the development driver for Formula E team DS Techeetah in 2018.

Zhou started his single seater career in 2015, competing in the Italian F4 Championship and ADAC Formula 4 with Prema Racing.

Yuki Tsunoda ( born 11 May 2000) is a Japanese racing driver who is due to race for Scuderia AlphaTauri in Formula One in 2021. He was the 2018 Japanese F4 champion and is a member of the Honda Formula Dream Project [ja] and the Red Bull Junior Team.  He finished third in the 2020 Formula 2 Championship.

Mick Schumacher; born 22 March 1999)  is a German racing driver, who races for Haas in Formula One, and is also a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. He began his career in karting in 2008, progressing to the German ADAC Formula 4 by 2015.

Nikita Dmitryevich Mazepin; born 2 March 1999,  is a Russian racing driver who is due to race for the Haas F1 Team in the 2021 Formula One World Championship. He previously competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for Hitech Racing. In 2022 Haas replaced Mazepin for Magnussen as a sanction for the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia.

Jack Aitken, born in 1995 in London is a British-Korean racing car driver who last competed in the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship with Campos Racing. Born in London to a Scottish father and Korean mother, Aitken began his career in karting at Buckmore Park, aged 7.

Pietro Fittipaldi da Cruz (born 25 June 1996) is a Brazilian-American racing driver, the grandson of two-time Formula One world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and brother of racing driver Enzo Fittipaldi. Most recently he raced at selected rounds in the 2021 IndyCar Series for Dale Coyne Racing, alongside serving as a reserve driver for Formula One team Haas. He made his Formula One debut with Haas at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, replacing the injured Romain Grosjean.

George William Russell (born 15 February 1998) is a British racing driver currently competing in Formula One, contracted to Williams. He was the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Champion for ART and the 2017 GP3 Series Champion. Lance Stroll (born 29 October 1998) is a Belgian-Canadian racing driver competing under the Canadian flag in Formula One. He is due to drive for Aston Martin in 2021, having previously driven for Williams and Racing Point. He was Italian F4 champion in 2014, Toyota Racing Series champion in 2015, and 2016 FIA European Formula 3 champion. He was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy from 2010 to 2015.

In 2022 Haas replaced Mazepin for Magnussen as a sanction for the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia.

Esteban Manuel Gutiérrez; born 5 August 1991 is a Mexican racing driver currently representing Mercedes in Formula One, Formula E and esports.

Previously from 2013 to 2014, Gutiérrez drove for the Sauber Formula One team but lost his drive at the end of the 2014 season. He then signed with Ferrari as their test and reserve driver for 2015.

Pastor Rafael Maldonado Motta (born 9 March 1985) is a Venezuelan professional racing driver, who competed in Formula One for the Williams (2011–2013) and Lotus (2014–2015) teams. Before entering Formula One, he won the 2010 GP2 Series championship. He became the first Venezuelan to win a Formula One Grand Prix when he won the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix for Williams, from his first and only pole position. It was also his only podium finish and his only win in Formula One.

Jérôme d'Ambrosio (born 27 December 1985) is a Belgian former Formula E racer. He is now the deputy team principal for Venturi Racing. He has previously drove for Marussia Virgin Racing during the 2011 Formula One World Championship. As a result of the one-race ban given to Romain Grosjean for actions at the start of the 2012 Belgian Grand Prix, d'Ambrosio replaced the Frenchman for the 2012 Italian Grand Prix.

Nicolas Hülkenberg, born 19 August 1987) is a German professional racing driver who drove in Formula One in 2010 and from 2012 to 2020. In 2015, he also contested two rounds of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season for Porsche, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans on his first attempt. He was the 2009 champion of the GP2 Series.

Bruno Senna Lalli, born 15 October 1983 is a Brazilian professional racing driver currently racing for Rebellion Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He is the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, three-time Formula One world champion. He is also the first man to win a race in every WEC class, and was the 2017 WEC world champion for the LMP2 class.

Karun Chandhok (born 19 January 1984) is an Indian racing driver and television presenter who last competed in Formula E for Mahindra Racing. Previously, Chandhok has competed for Hispania Racing in Formula One in 2010. Before this, he drove in the GP2 Series for three years, winning two races. In 2013, Chandhok competed in the FIA GT Series for Seyffarth Motorsport.

He became the FIA Formula E World Champion in 2016-2017, also achieved 3 overall podiums and best result ever for a Brazilian driver at Le Mans 24h, including a FIA WEC Vice World Championship in 2016.
