Toyota – from the name of the founder, Sakichi Toyoda. Initially called Toyoda, it was changed after a contest for a better-sounding name. The new name was written in katakana with eight strokes, a number that is considered lucky in Japan.

Toyota Motor Corporation  is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. The company was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937, as a spinoff from his father's company Toyota Industries to create automobiles.  Toyota is the largest automobile manufacturer in the world followed by Volkswagen, based on 2020 unit sales.

toyoda aa sedan 1936-1943

The A1 was the first prototype passenger car built by the company that became Toyota. It was redesigned and put into production as Toyota's first production cars, the AA sedan and the AB cabriolet. These were succeeded by the similar AE, AC and BA sedans.

The AA was similar to the A1 prototypes with only minor changes.

A total of 1404 AA sedans were produced from 1936 to 1943, when the model was replaced by the more austere AC.

A total of 353 AB convertible, including the military ABR version, was produced from 1936 to 1942. There was no direct replacement.

Like the previous model, the AA was a fully enclosed 4-door sedan that largely copied the design of the Chrysler built DeSoto Airflow. It had a metal body on a metal ladder chassis. The metal body was of modern construction compared to the fabric-over-wooden-frame bodies used on cars designed in the 1920s. The rear doors opened backwards as suicide doors. The front glass spanned the entire width of the body in a single pane.

The AB was identical to the AA except that it was a convertible with a folding cloth roof, the rear doors opened forwards like conventional doors and the front glass could fold down onto the engine compartment.

The AA used the 3,389 cc Type A Overhead valve 6-cylinder engine producing 62 horsepower with a 3-speed column-shift manual gearbox.

The Type A engine was copied from a purchased and reverse engineered 1933 Chevrolet Master, and the chassis and electrics were copied from Ford.

toyopet  1955-1956

The Toyopet Master, introduced in January 1955, is a passenger car that was an evolution of the earlier Toyota SF/RH sedan (also known as the Super) with a modernized body. As with its predecessor, the Master has a ladder frame truck chassis with leaf sprung solid axles both at the front and the rear. The more conservative Master was sold in parallel with the first Toyota Crown as a frugally equipped and robust version meant for taxi usage. The Master and Crown shared the same R-series engine, which produces 48 PS in the Master. It was sold at a chain of Toyota Japan dealerships called Toyota Store, next to the more upscale Crown, which was intended as a private purchase alternative to the Master.

The sedan was partially replaced with the smaller Toyota Corona in 1957, at a new Toyota Japanese dealership called Toyopet Store. The  body panels were used in cut-down form as an economical and fast way to design this new ST10 Corona.

land cruiser

The Toyota Land Cruiser is a series of four-wheel drive vehicles produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. It is Toyota's longest running series of models and the second longest-running SUV in production behind the Chevrolet Suburban.  As of 2019, the sales of the Land Cruiser totalled more than 10 million units worldwide.

j40  1960-1984

The J40/41/42 was a two-door short wheelbase four-wheel-drive vehicle, with either a soft or a hardtop (V). It was available with various petrol or diesel (from 1974) engines over its lifetime. It was replaced on most markets from 1984 by the J70 series (70/71).

The J40 series was produced with both diesel and petrol engines. The F series was a 6-cylinder petrol motor, B series a 4-cylinder diesel, and H series a 6-cylinder diesel. The diesel trucks were never sold to the general public in the United States, though some found their way in as mine trucks. Some engines are similar within their series; for example, the F and 2F engines share many of the same parts. However the H and 2H designations have almost nothing in common.

Toyota still offers many replacement parts for the J40, available through Toyota parts departments worldwide.

j60  1980-1990

The Land Cruiser 60 series was produced from 1980 through 1990, for most markets but the Cumana Plant in Venezuela continued production until 1992 for their local market. It is a front engine, four-door wagon which can seat five to eight people. The 60 series was available in the following exterior colours: Alpine White, Brown, Desert Beige, Freeborn Red, Royal Blue; and in the following metallic exterior colours: Charcoal Gray, Cognac, Gray-Blue, Rootbeer, Sky Blue, Stardust Silver.

The 60 series was introduced. While still retaining the rugged off-road characteristics of previous Land Cruisers, it was designed to better compete in the emerging sport utility vehicle market. The 60 was given a variety of creature comforts like air conditioning, a rear heater and an upgraded interior. The FJ60's "2F" petrol engine was left unchanged from the "40" series while the six-cylinder 4.0 L 2H and the four-cylinder 3.4 L 3B diesel engines were added to the lineage. Less equipped versions were also available in many markets. In Europe this model was sold as the Land Cruiser Wagon Van.

The last FJ62 with a 4.0 L 3F carburated engine was built in Venezuela which was the only country producing the vehicles after production ended in Japan in 1990.

prado j120  2002-2009

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a full-size four-wheel drive vehicle in the Land Cruiser range produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota as one of the smaller vehicles in the Land Cruiser range.

Appearing in 2002, the third generation Prado has revised front suspension to improve reliability.

Engines include the 2.7 L straight-4 3RZ-FE, 3.4 L V-6 5VZ-FE and 3.0 L straight-4 turbocharged diesel 1KZ-TE. In countries like China, a newly developed engine( 1GR-FE V6) is available. The engine immobilizer became standard equipment in some markets.

The 120-series Land Cruiser Prado shares the same suspension parts as the Hilux Surf/4Runner and FJ Cruiser from the same years.

j300 2021-present

The J300 series Land Cruiser was unveiled on 9 June 2021. Its development was led by Toyota chief engineer Takami Yokoo.

For this generation, Toyota ceased to offer V8 engine options in favour of a 3.4-litre V35A-FTS twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 415 PS, and a 3.3-litre F33A-FTV twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine producing 309 PS. A 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated V6 engine is carried over from the previous model.

A GR Sport/GR-S variant is also available for the first time. It is 5 mm shorter than the standard model, and uses more body adhesive to enhance structural rigidity. The GR Sport model also offers front and rear differential locking, as opposed to only centre locking in the standard 300 Series.

Toyota stated that the J300 series Land Cruiser would not be available in the United States due to slow sales for its J200 series predecessor, as well as limited production capacity; the related Lexus LX remains available due to better sales. Other than Lexus vehicles, the Sequoia became Toyota's flagship SUV sold in North America.

t40/t50  1600gt 1964-1970

The Toyota Corona is an automobile manufactured  through ten generations between 1957 and 2001. It was replaced in Japan by the Toyota Premio, It was replaced in Europe by the Toyota Avensis.

The third generation was introduced September 1964, one month before the 1964 Summer Olympics.

The 1965 model marked a return of Toyota to the American market after withdrawing there temporarily in 1961.

mf10 2000gt 1967-1970

The 2000GT is a limited-production front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-door, two-seat sports car/grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha and manufactured under contract by Yamaha between 1967 and 1970.

The engine was a 1,988 cc straight-6  based on the engine in the top-of-the-line Toyota Crown sedan. It was transformed by Yamaha into a sports car engine that produced 150 PS.

Only 337 regular production units of the 2000GT were built. Today, the 2000GT is seen as the first seriously collectible Japanese car and its first supercar.

celica

The Toyota Celica is produced from 1970 to 2006. The Celica name derives from the Latin word coelica meaning "heavenly" or "celestial".  Produced across seven generations, the Celica was powered by various four-cylinder engines, and bodystyles included convertibles, liftbacks, coupés and notchback coupés.

a20/a30  celica mkI coupe 1970-1977

Displayed at the October 1970 Tokyo Motor Show together with the Toyota Carina and marketed from December of the same year, the Celica was a two-door hardtop coupé that emphasized styling and driving enjoyment. Based on a platform shared with the Carina sedan which is one size above the Toyota Corolla, and a shared size with the Toyota Corona, according to Automobile Magazine, the Celica was based on the Corona platform.

This car was aimed at the North American market and was Toyota's response to the 1964½ Ford Mustang (Pony car) which also was a standard sedan (Ford Falcon) with stylized 2+2 bodywork.

The initial trim levels offered were ET (1.4L 4-speed), LT, ST (1.6L 5-speed) and GT (1.6L 5-speed) with GTV added in 1972. For export markets the Celica was available in three different levels of trim; LT, ST, GT.

The second series had a flat nose (square front corner light) and slightly longer wheelbase (98 in or 2,500 mm wheelbase). This facelift model appeared in Japan in 1974 but for export was the 1975 model year being TA23, RA23, RA24, RA25, RA28, TA28 & RA29.

a20/a30 celica mkI liftback 1973-1977

The fastback-styled hatchback, called the Liftback by Toyota, was introduced for the Japanese market in April 1973 but not until July 1974 for export models. Models for the Japanese domestic market Liftback were the 1600 ST, 1600 GT (TA27), 2000 ST, and 2000 GT (RA25 and RA28). The North American liftback (RA29) was only offered with a 2.2-liter 20R engine for the 1976 and 1977 model year. All the liftback models have flat noses. Although there is no "B" pillar in the Liftback, the rear quarter windows are fixed in place and do not roll down (as they do in the hardtop coupe).

The Liftback was often called the Japanese Mustang or the Mustang Celica. It had fastback styling similarities to the 1968 Ford Mustang, as seen in the film Bullitt, including C-pillar louvers and the vertical bar tail lights that are a signature Mustang styling cue and pay overall homages to the muscle-car era.

t230 1999–2006

n July 1999, Toyota began production of the seventh-generation Celica, with European sales beginning late that year. It closely resembled the XYR concept.

The 2000 model year Celica was an element of Toyota Project Genesis, a failed effort to bring younger buyers to the marque in the United States. Toyota took time to lighten the car and lower cost wherever possible. Power window and door lock controls were placed in the center console so only 1 set was necessary for both doors. Initial sunroofs were made of polymer plastic instead of the traditional glass. This generation was assembled by Kanto Auto Works at its Higashi-Fuji plant in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

The Celica came in only one Liftback body style with the choice of two different engines. The ZZT230 was powered by a relatively economical 1.8 L 4-cylinder 140 hp 1ZZ-FE engine and the ZZT231 powered by a higher-performance 1.8 L 4-cylinder 192 hp (in Europe and Japan) 2ZZ-GE version, co-developed with Yamaha, the latter featuring a two-step variable valve lift control in conjunction with its variable valve timing.

The last Celica was rolled off production line on 21 April 2006, after 36 years and seven generations. In its last year of production, the Celica was only officially sold in Japan and Europe.

There has been no direct successor to the Celica, however, the Scion tC (exclusive to North America) is seen by some people as the spiritual successor to the Celica.

supra

The Toyota Supra (Toyota Sūpura) is a sports car and grand tourer manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corporation beginning in 1978. The name "supra" is derived from the Latin prefix, meaning "above", "to surpass" or "go beyond".  The styling of the original Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was longer. Starting in mid-1986, the A70 Supra became a separate model from the Celica. The Supra traces much of its roots back to the 2000GT owing to an inline-6 layout.

a70 supra 1986-1993

In February 1986, the bonds between the Celica and the Supra were cut; they were now two completely different models. The Celica changed to a front-wheel drive layout, using the Toyota "T" platform associated with the Corona, while the Supra kept its rear-wheel-drive layout. The engine was updated to a more powerful 2.954 cc inline-six engine rated at 200 hp. Although initially only available with naturally aspirated engines, a turbocharged version was added in the 1987 model year. The Supra was now mechanically related to the Soarer.

The new engine used in the A70 Supra, the Toyota 7M-GE, was the flagship engine of Toyota's arsenal. Both versions of the engine contained 4 valves per cylinder and dual overhead cams.

The third-generation of the Supra represented an arsenal of new technology. In 1986, options available for the Supra included a 3-channel ABS and TEMS which gave the driver two settings which affected the damper rates; a third was automatically activated at wide open throttle, hard braking and high speed maneuvering.

The Japanese models of the Supra were given the chassis codes JZA70 and GA70 respectively. The JZA70 has a 2.5-litre 276 hp parallel twin-turbocharged 1JZ-GTE engine, and the GA70 has a 2.0-litre 207 hp twin-turbocharged 1G-GTE and a naturally aspirated 1G-GEU engines respectively.

a80 trd 3000 gt 1994

The TRD 3000GT is a tuned car produced by TRD, but listed as a Toyota vehicle. The car is a tuned version of the fourth-generation Toyota Supra. It only appears in Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2.

Based on the Supra, Toyota's top sports model, the TRD 3000GT is a new model developed by longtime Toyota Motor Sports participant TRD. This machine reveals the mass-market Supra's potential as an ultra high-performance sports car. Its chief exterior features are the numerous additional body parts that give it the look of a GT machine. The TRD body kit widens the car, which makes a difference not only in appearance but also in road performance because of the aerodynamic improvements.

Only 35 examples of these were ever produced, each of which came with its own specially numbered VIN plate that officially re-classified the car as a TRD 3000GT rather than a Toyota Supra.

j29/db supra 2019-present

The fifth-generation Supra was released in January 2019 after 17 years off the market as the GR Supra, part of Toyota's Gazoo Racing (GR) family of performance cars. It was developed in partnership with BMW, sharing the platform and many parts from the BMW Z4 (G29) with BMW derived 4- and 6-cylinder turbocharged engines and maintaining rear-wheel drive layout from the previous Supra. The model is designated with BMW model codes "J29" or "DB", however Toyota used the "A90" and "A91" codes for promotional and marketing materials for the fifth-generation Supra to maintain the lineage from the previous Supra. The GR Supra is manufactured at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria alongside the Z4.

The fifth-generation Toyota Supra was launched in total seven colour options including CU Later Gray, Stratosphere, Burnout, Absolute Zero, Nocturnal, Renaissance 2.0, and Nitro Yellow. Apart from the cosmetics, in the year 2023, new driving modes are introduced called Hairpin+. This mode allows additional wheel-spin on one of the rear tyres to help rotate the Supra around ultra-tight hairpin turns.

x70  mkII wagon 1984-1997

The Toyota Mark II is a compact, later mid-size sedan manufactured and marketed in Japan by Toyota between 1968 and 2004. Prior to 1972, the model was marketed as the Toyota Corona Mark II.

Arriving in August 1984, the fifth generation dropped the "Corona" name in Japan and became simply the Toyota Mark II. This generation Mark II had a lot of rivals including the Nissan Leopard, as well as the traditional competitor Nissan Laurel sedan. The Mark II continued to remain very viable for fleet sales, government agencies and taxi services.

hi  lux

The Toyota Hilux  Toyota Hairakkusu), stylized as HiLux and historically as Hi-Lux, is a series of pickup trucks produced and marketed by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. The majority of these vehicles are sold as pickup truck or cab chassis variants, although they could be configured in a variety of body styles. The Hilux started production in March 1968.

n80-n110  hi lux mkV 1988-1997

The Hilux started production in March 1968 as the RN10 in short-wheelbase form with a 1.5 L inline-four engine, generating a maximum power output of 77 PS. In spite of the name "Hilux", it was a luxury vehicle only when compared to the Stout. The Hilux was engineered and assembled by Hino Motors to replace the earlier vehicle that the Hilux was derived from, called the Briska in the niche beneath the larger and older Stout – it replaced the Stout fully in some markets.

It was during this 5th generation that Toyota discontinued the Hilux in the United States, replacing it with the new Tacoma for the 1995 model year.

an10/20/30  hi lux mkVII  2004-2014

The Toyota Hilux is a series of pickup trucks produced and marketed by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota. The majority of these vehicles are sold as pickup truck or cab chassis variants, although they could be configured in a variety of body styles.

The seventh generation of the Hilux started production in Thailand during August 2004. The model is also considerably larger than the previous generation Hilux.

century

The Toyota Century is a luxury vehicle produced mainly for the Japanese market, serving as Toyota's flagship car within Japan; globally the unrelated Lexus LS series is Toyota's flagship luxury model. Production of the Century began in 1967, and the model received only minor changes until redesigns in 1997 and 2018.

The Century derived its name from the 100th birthday of Sakichi Toyoda (born 14 February 1867), the founder of Toyota Industries. It is often used by the Imperial House of Japan, the Prime Minister of Japan, senior Japanese government leaders, and high-level executive businessmen.

g50  1997-2017

The second generation Century received a complete redesign in April 1997, although the new model was visually very similar to the previous generation. This model is powered by a 5.0 L 1GZ-FE V12, rated at 280 PS in Japanese models and 299 PS in export models.

It was initially equipped with a 4-speed A342E automatic, until a 6-speed "intelligent" transmission arrived in 2005. It also features air suspension. The Century remains the first and only Japanese front-engine, rear-wheel-drive production car equipped with a V12, and it is Toyota's first V12 engine. As this is a top level luxury flagship, private owners are comfortable with the yearly road tax bill.

Although the previous generation was not officially exported despite its common use by Japanese diplomats overseas, Toyota began limited official exports of the G50 Century to Europe and other Asian markets including China and the Middle East in November 1998, positioning it as an executive car for company and government officials. About 100 left-hand drive cars were produced for export.

In Japan, the vehicles' interiors are usually ordered in wool cloth, rather than the leather seen in many luxury cars; leather is not as quiet as cloth when sat upon.

The second generation Century was discontinued on 4 February 2017, after almost 20 years of production. 9573 vehicles were built from 1996 (the launch year was 1997) to the final figure of 100 cars in 2016.

avensis

The Toyota Avensis is a mid-size/large family car built in Derbyshire, United Kingdom from 1997 to 2018. It was the direct successor to the European Carina E and was available as a four-door saloon, five-door liftback and estate.

The Avensis was to create a more modern name when compared with the Carina E and proved a sales success for Toyota Europe.

t250  2003-2009

The second generation Avensis was launched in February 2003, in an all new format; this time it offered more in the way of driver involvement and visual appeal. It was in saloon and estate, replacing the V50 series Vista and Vista Ardeo. Like the Echo/Yaris and Corolla, it was penned by the company's design studio in France. Following the withdrawal of the Camry in 2004 (2005 in Switzerland), the Avensis became the largest Toyota saloon sold in Western Europe.

This is first and only generation of Avensis sold in Egypt and Morocco, not in Persian Gulf countries.

The 1.6-, 1.8- and 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engines were carried over from the previous Avensis, and the 2.4-litre four-cylinder from the Camry was also added to the range. This was the first Avensis to be exported to Japan.

t270  2009-2018

The third generation Avensis was revealed at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Like the previous model, it is built at Toyota's Burnaston plant in Derbyshire, England. This generation is available in saloon or estate styles only. The third generation Avensis full-year sales goal was of 115,000 vehicles. Toyota ED2 initially designed the Avensis giving it a more sleek and athletic stance.

The Avensis wagon began being imported again to Japan in mid-2011, with 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine and CVT transmission in Li and Xi variants. The Avensis wagon was discontinued in Japan on 27 April 2018.

The Avensis underwent a facelift in January 2012. This included a revised front grille and modified tail lamps. A further facelift was shown in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Avensis was discontinued across Europe in late 2018. It was replaced by the slightly larger XV70 series Camry, which is based on the TNGA-K platform.

x120  mkX 250g 2004-2009

The Toyota Mark X  is a mid-size car manufactured by Toyota between 2004 and 2019, and was primarily aimed at the Japanese market. In Japan, it was the top level car.

The Mark X was sold as the Reiz  in China, which was produced by Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co. Ltd. It was produced until 2017. The Mark X was also officially imported to Indonesia in limited quantities between 2012 and 2013, to replace Australian-built Camrys as premium taxis.

h200 hi ace super 2004-2019

The Toyota HiAce is a light commercial van produced since October 1967, the HiAce has since been available in a wide range of body configurations, including a minivan/MPV, minibus, panel van, crew van, pickup truck, taxi and an ambulance.

HiAce vans originally sold on the European market have largely been exported to Africa and to Southeast Asia where they are used as public transport vehicles.

This fifth generation HiAce became available for sale in late 2004. Most models use a four cylinder dohc engine.

On Japan's list of the most commonly stolen vehicles, as of November 2008, the HiAce resides in the first place. Because of a lack of a theft immobilizer.

auris e150 2006-2012

The Toyota Auris is a compact car derived from the Corolla, manufactured and sold by Toyota. Introduced in 2006, the first generation three/five-door hatchback shared the platform with the E150 series Corolla, while the second generation five-door hatchback and station wagon called "Touring Sports" uses the E180 platform. The "Auris" name is based on the Latin word for "gold", "aurum".

In Europe, Toyota positioned the Auris as the replacement for the Corolla hatchback, while the saloon version continued with the Corolla nameplate.

Toyota positioned the Auris at the lower medium segment to compete with cars such as Volkswagen GolfVauxhall/Opel AstraHyundai i30 and the Ford Focus.

The second generation Auris was revealed on 20 August 2012. It features a wider, lower stance with a more luxurious interior. Its dashboard was later used on the E170 series Corolla saloon that was released later in 2013.

camry

The Toyota Camry is manufactured by Toyota since 1982, spanning multiple generations. Originally compact in size (narrow-body), later Camry models have grown to fit the mid-size classification (wide-body)—although the two sizes co-existed in the 1990s.

Between 1979 and 1982, the Camry nameplate was delegated to a four-door sedan model in Japan, known as the Celica Camry. When Camry became an independent model line in 1982 with the V10 series, Toyota made it available as a five-door liftback in addition to the sedan.

When Toyota launched their luxury Lexus brand in 1989, it offered a close derivative of the Camry hardtop sedan as the Lexus ES. The relationship continues to this day, but over the generations, the ES—sold as the Toyota Windom in Japan from 1991 through to 2005—gravitated further away from its Camry brethren. Between 2006 and 2010, the regular Camry was also rebadged as the Daihatsu Altis.

 xv40  2006-2013

This generation of Camry saw even greater differentiation between "regular" model sold internationally (including Japan) and the "prestige" Camry sold in the rest of Asia. The regular Camry, fitted with four-cylinder engines sold alongside the V6-engined prestige Camry in Oceania and the Middle East as the Toyota Aurion. Between 2006 and 2010, the regular Camry was also rebadged as the Daihatsu Altis model, which sold alongside the Camry in Japan. The Daihatsu differed only in badging, with no cosmetic changes.

Power comes from a choice of four and six-cylinder engines. The 2.4-liter 2AZ-FE I4 engine was carried over and produced 158 hp. It came with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The 3.5-liter 2GR-FE V6 in contrast came with a new six-speed automatic and produced 268 hp.

The Camry was facelifted in early 2009 for the 2010 model year with a redesigned fascia, taillights, and an all-new 2.5-liter 2AR-FE four-cylinder engine with a new six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5-liter engine produces 169 hp for the base, LE, XLE models, and 179 hp for the SE.

xv70  2017-present

The latest Camry, which is the eighth generation of the global Camry model, and known as the XV70, was introduced at the January 2017 North American International Auto Show.

Engine choices include a base 2.5 L inline four-cylinder (I4) that now produces 203 hp in base form (208 hp when equipped with the optional quad exhaust), the same 2.5 L inline four-cylinder (I4) engine with an electric motor (Hybrid) that produces 208 hp, or the top-of-the-line 3.5 L V6 that produces 301 hp. In some markets the old 2.5 L 2AR-FE engine is carried over from the previous generation which produces 178 hp.

The only major components shared with the previous generation are the Toyota emblem on the front grille and rear trunk lid.

Competing with mainstream and more affordable models in Western markets, for other export markets in Asia and Latin America, the Camry is seen as a luxury car where it sells strongly (and serves as Toyota's flagship vehicle along with the Land Cruiser). In the United States, except for 2001, the Camry was the best-selling passenger car from 1997 through 2020.

xj10  fj cruiser 2007-2014/2022

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a retro style, mid-size SUV. Introduced as a concept car in 2003. The FJ Cruiser was approved for production after positive consumer response and debuted at the January 2005 North American International Auto Show in final production form.

The FJ Cruiser was built by Toyota subsidiary Hino Motors in Hamura, Japan since 2006 and shares many structural underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The cruiser was discontinued in 2016 but untill 2022  it was still sold in markets such as Chile, the Middle East, the Philippines and Southern African Customs Union countries.

xk50  tundra 2007-2021

The Toyota Tundra is a pickup truck produced in the United States since May 1999. The Tundra was the second full-size pickup to be built by a Japanese manufacturer (the first was the Toyota T-100), but the Tundra was the first full-size pickup from a Japanese manufacturer to be built in North America.

The first generation Tundra had many similarities with the older Toyota T100 and the compact Toyota Tacoma. These included the shared use of a 3.4 L V6 engine which was the top of the line engine in both the Tacoma and T100. The V6 engine would serve as the base engine for the Tundra, while a second engine was added, a 4.7 L V8, the first V8 for a Toyota pickup.

xw30  prius 2009-2014

The Toyota Prius is a compact/small family liftback (supermini/subcompact sedan until 2003) produced by Toyota. The Prius has a hybrid drivetrain, combined with an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. Initially offered as a four-door sedan, it has been produced only as a five-door liftback since 2003.

The Prius was developed by Toyota to be the "car for the 21st century"; it was the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle, first going on sale in Japan in 1997 at all four Toyota Japan dealership chains, and subsequently introduced worldwide in 2000.

In 2011, Toyota expanded the Prius family to include the Prius v, an MPV, and the Prius c, a subcompact hatchback.

At its introduction in 2009, it won the Car of the Year Japan Award for the second time. In December 2013, Consumer Reports named the Prius as the "Best Value", for the second year in a row.

A 2019 iSeeCars study ranked the Prius as the second longest-kept vehicle among U.S. drivers

As of June 2013, Toyota has sold about 1.688.000 third-generation Priuses worldwide.

ts050 2016-2020

The Toyota TS050 Hybrid is a sports prototype racing car developed for the 2016 Le Mans Prototype rules in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The car is the direct successor of the Toyota TS040 Hybrid, which competed in both the 2014 and 2015 FIA WEC seasons. Drivers that have tested the TS050 include Sam BirdThomas LaurentPipo DeraniKenta YamashitaNyck de Vries, and Yannick Dalmas. The TS050 was revealed at the Circuit Paul Ricard on 24 March 2016 due to Toyota's two-year cycle policy.

The engine is a 2.4L twin-turbocharged petrol V6, while the two previous cars used a naturally aspirated petrol V8. It has an 8-megajoule hybrid system, which uses lithium-ion batteries.

For this 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship, the TS050 underwent a substantial redesign, with majority of the previous year's bodywork being heavily modified or removed, with the monocoque being the sole piece of bodywork which was carried over. At the front of the car, the nose was raised slightly, while an undercut was made into the sidepod of the car. Internally, the car also underwent changes, with the coolers being relocated and the rear suspension layout being slightly modified.
