The company was founded in 1985 as a designstudio for road going vehicels. Michail Gorbatschow was a participant in the start up of the company. As of 1993 the company started to specialize in armoured vehicels.
The first prototype was named Laura and only two cars were made. The frontwheel driven coupes were powered by a Lada engine. In 1987 the presented the next prototype called Ohta. This minivan was again frontwheel driven and based on a lada.
Between 1995 and 1998 some kit cars were made named Laura. They used the base of the pontiac fiero. As of 1998 the all wheel driven Kanonir was available on demand. The car was built as a pickup and station. It was fitted with a 3.0L engine.
