Aston Martin is a British car manufacturer that has participated in Formula One in various forms and is currently represented by a team named as Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team. The company first participated in Formula One during the 1959 season, where they debuted the DBR4 chassis using their own engine, but it failed to score any points. They continued to perform poorly through the 1960 season, once again failing to score any points. As a result, Aston Martin decided to leave Formula One after 1960.

A commercial rebranding of the Racing Point F1 Team resulted in the team's return as Aston Martin in 2021, utilising customer Mercedes power units. In 2026, the team will begin using Honda power units as part of a works partnership with the Japanese manufacturer. The team, owned by Lawrence Stroll, has Fernando Alonso, a 2-time champion from Spain, and Lance Stroll of Canada as their race drivers beginning with the 2023 season. The team is headquartered in Silverstone and has previously raced under various different names, starting with Jordan Grand Prix in 1991.

The Aston Martin AMR22 is a Formula One racing car designed and developed by the Aston Martin F1 team to compete in the 2022 Formula One World Championship.

For 2022, Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll were both retained as race team drivers. Nico Hülkenberg was announced as reserve driver.

Ordinarily, Vettel names his Formula One cars. However, with the AMR22 this is not the case.

The AMR22 is the first car that has been overseen by new team principal, Mike Krack formerly of BMW Motorsport who replaced Otmar Szafnauer who joined Alpine. Dan Fallows joined the development team in April 2022, leaving Red Bull Racing to become Aston Martin's technical director.

At the Spanish Grand Prix, the AMR22 was significantly updated and changed. It was similar in design to the Red Bull, which was investigated by the FIA who confirmed the upgrades were legitimate. In a later interview, Andrew Green confirmed that the team had been working on two differing designs for the AMR22 over a six-month period.

In late July, Vettel announced he would be retiring from Formula One at the end of the season. This means the AMR22 would be the final car driven competitively by the four time world champion.

The Aston Martin AMR24 is a Formula One racing car designed and developed by the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team which competed in the 2024 Formula One World Championship.

It was the fourth Formula One car entered by Aston Martin since rejoining the sport in 2021, and was driven by two-time world champion Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll with reserve driver duties handled by Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne, the former making the team's two mandatory rookie free practice stand-ins in the Mexico City and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.

Compared to its predecessor, the AMR23 which clinched 8 podiums across the 2023 season, the AMR24 sported worse performance and did not score a podium during the entire season, despite the team retaining their 5th place in the Constructors' Championship from the previous season.

The AMR24 was a complete overhaul compared to its predecessor (the AMR23), aiming to provide a lighter and more aerodynamically versatile platform.

It was powered by a Mercedes-AMG F1 M15 E Performance (1.6-liter V6 Turbo hybrid) mated to a Mercedes-AMG 8-speed semi-automatic gearbox.

By adopting the 2024 Mercedes gearbox, the team switched to a push-rod rear suspension. This opened up crucial floor space to maximize under-car venturi tunnel performance.
