Provence Miniatures Automobiles (often closely associated with or originating from the historic brand Provence Moulage) is a legendary French manufacturer that holds a monumental status in the world of high-end 1:43 scale resin model kits.

Founded originally in 1982 in the South of France (Marseille/Aix-en-Provence), the brand completely revolutionized the collector market by introducing artisan, hand-molded resin vehicle kits. This contrasted with the mass-produced, heavy die-cast metal models common at the time.

For over two decades, Provence was the ultimate destination for "builder" collectors. They manufactured unpainted, unassembled multi-material multimedia kits. Collectors could either build, paint, and detail the car themselves or purchase rare "factory hand-built" or "pro-built" versions assembled by professional model artisans.

Mainstream die-cast companies like Minichamps or Hot Wheels only produced cars with massive global sales potential due to high tooling costs. Provence used low-cost, highly flexible rubber molds, allowing them to produce over 2,000 different niche vehicles.

Original, unbuilt vintage Provence kits from the 1980s and 1990s are highly collectible time capsules.
