Based in the South of France, the company was founded in 1982 after model company MRF Record split. The other half of MRF was sold to model company Starter, which was then bought by Provence Moulage in 2001. After being bought itself, PM is now owned by Norev. During the 20-plus years that Provence Moulage was creating resin models, it produced nearly 2000 different cars, all of which were available in kit form.
